About
I'm a Design Engineer. I design products and I build them — concept, interface, and shipped code, with no handoff in between.
That wasn't a plan. It's what six years of small teams and solo projects made necessary: when there's nobody to hand a Figma file to, you learn to ship it yourself. What looked like a limitation turned out to be the thing I'm best at — I hold the whole product in my head, from the type scale down to the data behind the chart.
Day to day that means React, Next.js and TypeScript on the front, Node and Prisma behind it, and Figma and Penpot where the work starts. I have shipped plenty of WordPress and PHP too, when the job called for it. Agents write a lot of my code; I review the output, catch where it goes wrong, and own the result.
Education
Graphic Design, UTFPR (Federal Technological University of Paraná). The design foundation came from there. The engineering came from needing to ship what I designed.

What I do:
Same job since 2020: own the product end to end — the design, the build, and whatever is running in production afterwards. What changed is the toolchain. Early on that meant WordPress with a carefully chosen, properly licensed plugin stack, kept clean enough to actually maintain; now it means React, Next.js and code I write myself.
Built and shipped a project and task management tool now running at a paying agency — data-dense dashboards and reporting, designed and coded end to end.
Built ChatGrow, a WhatsApp automation platform operating under a Meta Tech Provider license.
Rebuilt a booking business end to end — hosting, checkout and scheduling. Monthly revenue grew about 10× in the first month, then held at roughly 7× the previous baseline.
Design and front-end for scientific journals and clinics: Open Journal Systems themes, booking flows, and the infrastructure behind them.
Impact:
Working on my own taught me to own the whole product — concept, interface, code, and everything that happens after launch. It is also where I learned to use AI agents as leverage without handing over judgment.
